Option 1 — Delete from the App
The fastest way to remove all local data:

Open the NudgeBuzz app

Tap Settings in the bottom navigation

Scroll to Data & Backup

Tap "Clear All Data"

Confirm the deletion

Warning: This permanently deletes all channels, content, schedules, and settings. This action cannot be undone.
Option 2 — Delete Your Account (Groups & Nudges Users)
If you signed in to use Groups & Nudges, follow these steps to remove your cloud data first:

Open the NudgeBuzz app

Go to Groups & Nudges

Tap the sign-out icon in the top right — this schedules cloud data for deletion

Then follow Option 1 to delete local data
Option 3 — Request Manual Deletion
If you cannot access the app, contact us to delete your data manually:

Email nudgebuzz1@gmail.com with subject "Data Deletion Request" and your registered email address
We will process your request within 30 days.
What Gets Deleted
- All channels and content you created
- Notification schedules
- App settings and preferences
- Account information (if using Groups & Nudges)
- Group memberships, nudges you sent or received, and registered push notification tokens (if you used Groups & Nudges)
⚠️
Note on Groups & Nudges: if you were the sole admin of a group, the group becomes admin-less once your account is deleted — there is currently no automatic reassignment of admin rights to another member.
What Does Not Get Deleted
- Notifications already delivered to your device (managed by Android system)
- Anonymous usage logs, if any — retained for up to 90 days for troubleshooting
After Deletion
- Local data is removed immediately
- Cloud data is deleted within 30 days
- You can reinstall and start fresh at any time

Tip: Before deleting, consider exporting your data via Settings → Export Data if you'd like to keep a backup.
